Former President Donald Trump dominated a 2024 straw poll carried out at the Conservative Political Action Convention in Dallas, Texas, indicating that he remains the primary option for the Republican party’s presidential nominee, crushing Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and others.

In the numbers released on Saturday, Trump came in first with an awesome 69 % of attendees supporting the previous president. DeSantis got here in second location with 24 p.c, while Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) took 0.33 with a measly 2 percent.
