Trump Tells Black Conservatives His Criminal Charges Are ‘Why the Black People Like Me’ 

Former President Donald Trump informed a bunch of Black conservatives that “a lot of people” have said the 91 legal counts in opposition to him have made him extra appealing to Black individuals.

Talking at the Black Conservative Federation Honors Gala in Columbia, South Carolina on Friday night, Trump all but boasted about being indicted in four jurisdictions.

“And then I got indicted a second time and then a third time and a fourth time!” he informed the gang. “And a lot of people stated that that’s why the Black individuals like me, as a result of they have got been hurt so badly and discriminated towards. And so they in fact viewed me as– I’m being discriminated towards. It’s been pretty amazing.”

The former president is beneath indictment: in Ny on state prices of falsifying trade data; in federal court in Florida on costs of willfully preserving categorized paperwork and obstructing their retrieval; in federal court in Washington, D.C. for seeking to overturn the consequences of the 2020 election; in Fulton County, Georgia on fees of violating the state’s RICO statute by way of trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election within the state.

He has pleaded now not responsible to all ninety one counts throughout the four indictments.

Final week, Trump was once hit with a $354 million civil judgment for defrauding banks and insurance firms. He likened the judgment to the plight of Russian opposition leader Alexi Navalny, who died remaining week in a jail in the Arctic Circle.

“It is a type of Navalny,” he informed Fox Information on Tuesday. “It is a form of communism or fascism.”

Trump is the runaway favorite to win the Republican presidential nomination.
