Former Fox Information host Kimberly Guilfoyle blasted her former supplier on Tuesday over its coverage in regards to the presence of Donald Trump surrogates in day after today’s submit-debate spin room.
Fox Information will host the primary Republican main debate on Wednesday, although the former president and current frontrunner is skipping the event.
The spin room is where representatives of the participants speak to the media and offer certain assessments of how their respective candidates carried out. Given the entire methods candidates in 2023 can get their messages out, the spin room is something of an antiquated phenomenon. Nonetheless, the Trump camp is sad with Fox’s coverage about it.
On Monday, some deceptive reports circulated announcing that Fox could be banning Trump surrogates from the spin room solely.
“That’s now not the case in any respect,” stated Bret Baier, who will co-reasonable the debate. “So far as in the spin room, it’s the candidates on the stage and their delegates. After which if any media group who’s in the spin room invites any such surrogates, a Trump surrogate, they’re welcome to come. They’ve to get the invite from the media individual in the room.”
Nonetheless, Guilfoyle, who’s engaged to Donald Trump Jr., expressed displeasure at the policy while appearing on Newsmax.
“I believe, unfortunately, for a media firm that I used to work for, you could possibly predict higher,” she stated. “However this is just in reality pathetic messaging. They’re just stepping out on themselves here. It’s backfiring spectacularly. It’s taking distraction faraway from the point of interest on the controversy.”
Guilfoyle then mentioned she and her fiancé “shall be there” and streaming on Rumble.
“And I’d just like to see somebody attempt to stop Don Jr. and me from going someplace,” she concluded.
