A Ukrainian father whose newborn son was born two weeks earlier than Russia’s invasion of Ukraine instructed CNN’s Jim Acosta on Sunday that after his son is older and ready to take into account, he’ll tell his son that he began his existence during a “historical time” when “the whole usa got collectively against this evil.”

The segment opened with a video of the father, Alex Dayrabekov, singing the song “Yesterday” with his child boy in his hands.
