Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau excused himself from a session of Parliament on Wednesday so that he may attend to the unfolding state of affairs on the U.S.-Canadian border.
On Wednesday, the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls was once closed because of an explosion involving a car that used to be passing through security checkpoints on its means into the USA. The FBI is investigating the incident for that you can imagine terrorism, and in Parliament, Conservative chief Pierre Poilievre asked Trudeau what he knew concerning the incident and what action used to be being taken.
Outlining the level of response by the Canadian authorities, Trudeau informed the meeting “There are plenty of questions. We’re following up and looking to get as many answers as hastily as possible. We’re in close contact with U.S. officials and can work closely with them.”
Trudeau established that the U.S.-Canadian border’s closure at a couple of factors as he insisted “we’re taking this extraordinarily severely.” With that, Trudeau announced “Mr. Speaker, I should excuse myself to head get further updates and work on this very severe state of affairs. Thank you.”
