Chris Christie and Asa Hutchinson — two Republican presidential candidates who’ve been vocal critics of former President Donald Trump — were booed all the way through their introductions at Wednesday’s Republican presidential debate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Whereas almost every candidate at Wednesday’s debate got cheers of make stronger, including Trump’s arch-rival Ron DeSantis, the audience response to Christie and Hutchinson used to be audibly much less enthusiastic.
Both Christie and Hutchinson have stood out in the 2024 Republican main for their vocal criticism of Trump and his campaign.
This month, Christie referred to as Trump “a fully self-founded, self-possessed, self-consumed, offended outdated man” and claimed he would have for my part prosecuted Trump with two of the 4 indictments that the previous president is presently combating.

Trump, the Republican major frontrunner, opted not to take part within the debate and as an alternative took part in an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, which aired on Twitter at the similar time.
