Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky denied Russia’s accusations that his usa used to be answerable for a drone strike on the Kremlin.

Zelensky spoke with reporters on Wednesday whereas he was once in Helsinki for a summit with Nordic leaders. Throughout this press convention, he expressly rejected accusations from the Kremlin and Russian state media that Kyiv was in the back of an alleged attempt to assassinate Vladimir Putin with an explosive carried with the aid of a drone.

“We don’t attack Putin or Moscow,” Zelensky stated. “We combat on our territory. We’re defending our villages and cities. We don’t have, you realize, sufficient weapons for this. That’s why we don’t use it any place [else]. For us, that is the deficit. We can not spend it. And we didn’t assault Putin. We depart it to the tribunal.”

As the Kremlin leveled its accusations against Ukraine, footage circulated online of what seems to be a small drone drawing near the roof of the Kremlin prior to exploding next to a flagpole. No person was once harmed in the incident and Putin was not at the Kremlin when it came about.

The Kremlin’s claims follow the lies, propaganda, and false flags Russia has put forth ever considering the fact that they launched their invasion of Ukraine. The litany of disinformation has induced a substantial amount of skepticism over the incident, though Russia is threatening to deal with it as a “terrorist” assault that can warrant “retaliatory measures.”
