Between the notorious darkness retreat and his experimentation with psychedelic medicine, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has had his fair share of fascinating life experiences.

So when Rodgers used the finale of HBO’s Arduous Knocks to share an incredible story a couple of UFO sighting, no one must have been shocked.

During training camp, Rodgers used to be visited by Steve Levy, an previous teammate from the University of California. That induced Rodgers to detail the night the two of them supposedly witnessed a once-in-a-lifetime event at Levy’s house beforehand of the 2005 NFL Draft.

“I had like a 5 a.m. wake-up and (as) I was getting right down to mattress, I heard this alarm within the distance going off,” Rodgers stated. “It just didn’t seem commonplace and I heard some rustling downstairs. So I bought up, walk downstairs. It’s a wonderful night time. And Steve and his brother and I walked outside, and up within the clouds, we hear this sound and saw this quite large object moving during the sky. And it was once like a scene out of Independence Day when the ships are coming into the ambiance and so they’re developing this explosion-sort fire in the sky.

“We simply noticed this extremely massive object and froze — as any one would — as a result of what the hell’s going on?”

The object, Rodgers persevered, ultimately flew out of sight. Thirty seconds later, the group then witnessed multiple fighters jets that “looked to be chasing this object,” in keeping with Rodgers.

“We simply stood there in just disbelief for some other few minutes and nobody said a word,” he said. “Then we all more or less checked out each and every different like, ‘Did we just see what we think we just noticed? What used to be that?’”

As destiny would have it, that New Jersey home is where Aaron Rodgers now lives as a member of a Jets.
