Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) tore into former President Donald Trump for endorsing “the worst Deep State candidate this cycle” on Monday after Trump gave his blessing to Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL).

After Trump gave his “Full and Total Endorsement” to Rogers’ Michigan Senate bid, Paul known as out the decision in a series of social media posts.

“Donald Trump simply counseled the worst Deep State candidate this cycle. @MikeRogersForMI is a by no means Trumper, and a card carrying member of the undercover agent state that seeks to ruin Trump,” declared Paul. “You must ask your self who provides Trump this awful advice? Who’s subsequent, John Bolton?”

Paul additionally posted a compilation of clips which confirmed Rogers criticizing Trump and predicting that Trump would not be the Republican nominee in 2024.

Then again, Amash – a libertarian conservative who left the Republican Birthday Party in 2019 to transform an independent – was the only non-Democrat to vote for impeachment towards Trump in 2019.

Amash, who has spent the past four years as a member of the Libertarian Birthday Party, introduced last month that he can be running for Senate as a Republican.
