Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was confronted about “rising distrust” of him within the U.S. government in a nerve-racking Sunday show interview.

In a stressful interview, CBS’ Margaret Brennan advised Netanyahu about the U.S. questioning Israel’s tactics and his management — amid growing private and non-private power to negotiate a new hostage care for Hamas.

“There may be growing distrust of you in my opinion, sir,” Brennan mentioned. “You realize this — in the US Congress and throughout the Biden White Home. When your closest ally is telling you things like this and telling you that you wish to rethink a method, isn’t it price taking into consideration?”

Netanyahu stood agency.
