Newsmax host Rob Schmitt spoke with Vivek Ramaswamy on the heels of the Republican presidential candidate’s whirlwind debate, the place he sparred with rivals not named Donald Trump.

The previous president remains the runaway frontrunner in GOP major polling and has thus far boycotted the Republican debates. His challengers have criticized him to various degrees, except for Ramaswamy.

So, there are two America First candidates on this race. That’s Donald Trump and myself. And the voters, I think may face a choice. Do you need anyone who comes from that prior generation with expertise? I will be able to’t claim to have that experience. But I think in this moment, more than ever, we want any person with fresh legs from the next technology to succeed in young Americans, and no person is achieving that next era like I’m within the Republican Birthday Party.”

Ramaswamy got himself in quite a lot of spats on the controversy stage Wednesday evening – none extra dramatic than his clash with former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.
