A 34-year-old Georgia man used to be charged this week after he made a cellphone call to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) workplace threatening to kill the congresswoman and her household.
Sean Patrick Cirillo was once arrested by way of the FBI and is scheduled to appear in court docket on Monday after he allegedly made a few threatening phone calls to Greene’s administrative center.
In a recording of some of the telephone calls, the caller might be heard announcing, “Whats up, I’m an incredible donor. Yeah, I bought a bead on her. Like a sniper rifle. A sniper rifle. And I’m gonna kill her next week. I’m gonna homicide her. I’m gonna shoot her in the f****** head and kill her. Adequate? Tell the FBI. Adequate? I’m gonna kill this c***. Inform her. I’ll kill you too, if you need.”
After one among Greene’s staffers asked, “Where are you calling from, sir?” the caller answered, “I’m calling from f*** yourself you f*****. F*** your birthday party! Your grandchildren are gonna f****** die! Die! Die!”
“Are you coming right here now? Are you to your way?” requested the staffer, to which the caller said:
You f****** sellout c***, you little dick f****** white boy c***. You little dick f****** white boy! Taking money! Taking cash! You little b****! You don’t assume you’re gonna get payback?! You’re gonna die! Your family is gonna die! C***. You don’t assume it’s gonna occur when you’re out of power?!
In a statement following Cirillo’s arrest, Greene said, “I wish to thank each single member of regulation enforcement who acted abruptly in response to this murderous chance.”
She introduced, “Threats to homicide elected officials should never be tolerated. It doesn’t matter your political affiliation, no one must threaten your existence for doing the job you have been despatched by the folks to do. Threats of violence must be taken severely. And that’s exactly why I take my 2d Amendment rights critically.”
